We have had many folks ask us what it is like to live on our farm so we have started a blog with the intent of showing some of the things that we do and go through on our farm.

This is our 3 yr old Reining Futurity horse for 2008. Mike Merriman of Mike Merriman Performance Horses LLC has been riding this filly for 60 or so days prior to the Ranch Horse Show on March 4th and 5th.Labels: Competition
March 4th and 5th kicked off the 2008 show season for some of our horses. This particular Buckskin filly did really well for her first ever show. We competed in Cutting, Team Sorting, and confirmation classes during this double judged show. If it was not for my mistakes during the cutting and team sorting we would have done much better than we did. As far as the confirmation classes went, we placed 2nd in the 5 and over mares class.Labels: Competition
